A Strike Run Mini League Series

Below is information and supplemental rules for this Strike Run Mini-Series.

Additional Rules and Information

This series is scheduled for 7 continuous weeks.
Beginning: July 15, 2010
Ending: August 26, 2010

ENTRY FEE: $10
$7 to Strike Run
$3 expense fee (lineage and other tournament related expenses)

GUARANTEED PRIZE

Strike Run Bowling will be adding to the Strike Run each week, as needed, to ensure that the top prize will start at no less than 10X the entry fee:

  • $100 minimum guaranteed top prize

QUALIFYING

Qualifying will be based on the total of 4 games, INCLUDING handicap.

Bowlers will use handicap as indicated on current league sheet


ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER

Only bowlers who have a minimum of 12 games in the current league may enter the Strike Run. Substitutes are allowed providing they have enough league games.

Bowlers who are in the arrears with their league fees, will not be allowed to enter.


NO TAP FORMAT

The Strike Run will use a 9 pin no-tap format


POINTS

This is a points series. Series points will be award for every entry, as outlined in the Points section of the Strike Run Mini-Series Rules.


WILD CARD QUALIFIER

1 out of every 3 entries, + 1 WILD CARD qualifier will advance to the Strike Run round.

The previous events high qualifier will randomly draw THREE bowlers. The first bowler drawn is guaranteed to qualify for the Strike Run. The second bowler drawn is guaranteed to qualify for the Strike Run providing the first bowler drawn qualifies by score. The third bowler drawn is guaranteed to qualify for the Strike Run providing the first two bowlers drawn qualify by score.

If all three drawn bowlers qualify by score, there will be no wild card qualifier for the event.


LANE SELECTION

The tournament director will determine the lane used for the Strike Run. When possible, a lane with fresh oil using the same pattern as league play will be used.

If a fresh lane is not available, the tournament director will select a lane that was not used by any of the qualifiers.

In all cases, the tournament director will determine which lane is used during the Strike Run.


FOUR WEEK QUALIFIERS

Any bowler who fails to advance to the Strike Run after their third paid entry is guaranteed to advance on their fourth entry.
