The Strike Run Mothers Day Challenge will take place on June 9, 2010 at Poway Fun Bowl in Poway, CA starting at 9:00 AM.
This event is in conjunction with the King of the Hill Strike Run Mini-Series.
The Mothers Day Strike Run is open to all female bowlers who are entered in the King of the Hill, and the Strike Run.
King of the Hill has a $10 entry fee. It is a scratch four game tournament.
The Strike Run has a $20 entry fee, and the Strike Values will be posted on the big board during the first game. Minimum top prize is $200, but is expected to be over $300.
King of the Hill scores will be used to determine the order for the Mothers Day Strike Run, with top qualifier bowling first followed by the second highest qualifier, etc.
The Mothers Day Strike Run Pot is a separate from the regular Strike Run. All of the prize money comes from extra sponsorship, and the fee structure of the regular Strike Run will not be altered or affected.
The Mothers Day Strike Run Pot will start with $100 (Courtesy of Fast Lane Productions). $4 will be added for each female entry (courtesy of Strike Run Bowling).
Female bowlers are automatically entered in both Strike Run events and can cash in both.
The Mothers Day Strike Run will take place immediately following the regular Strike Run event and the same lane will be used.
Standard Strike Run format and rules will be used with the following exceptions.
- The Strike Run will be locked at 5 Strikes. This means that 5 strikes will be needed to win the top prize regardless of prize values.
- 100% of the current Mothers Day Strike Run Pot will be available for each bowler.
- The Strike Run will continue until all female entrants have done a Strike Run, or until the Strike Run Pot drops below $8
- Any remaining money at the end of the Strike Run will be awarded to the top 3 qualifiers. Additional cashing spots will be added if there are more than 17 entries.
- Just like all other Strike Run events, the Mothers Day Strike Run will be video taped and all videos will be posted on the website, and on individual bowler profile pages.
