About the King of the Hill

The King of the Hill is a year long competition that begins in January and ends in December. Bowlers accumulate points, and cash prizes are awarded at the end of the year for the points leaders.

The King of the Hill is four game scratch competition known for it's low entry fees and casual atmosphere.

King of the Hill started some 40 years ago at Palomar lanes. It moved to Poway Fun Bowl several years ago. The tournament is open to all bowlers.

Tournament Entry fee: $10

Format: Scratch 4 games

Average entries: 20-30

Optional Super sidepots are available for $5 per game.
